I arrived at the Midwood Extra Space location at 3:52pm on Sunday with a rented truck and a load of items destined for my unit. The posted hours on the gate and on the Extra Space website state 4:00pm closing on Sundays. A staff member came out and shouted across the yard that they were closed. He refused to come closer, and after several minutes of yelling back and forth he went back inside without resolving anything. When I called the branch, the same employee answered, now openly hostile, and eventually put me through to the manager — who told me access actually ends at 3:45pm. That time is advertised nowhere I could see. With a loaded rental truck and no access to the unit I was paying for, I returned to U-Haul and rented storage from them instead. Pleasant staff, same size unit, similar price. If a business advertises a closing time, customers should be able to rely on it.

Dwayne was very friendly and explained everything clearly to me. All my questions were answered and I appreciated that Dwayne took the time to show me my storage unit and how to use the lock. I also noticed that the facility is very clean. Will definitely recommend.

The Coney Island Ave Extra storage is clean and well maintained. I was assisted by Wayne, who helped me close out my unit with no issues. Overall he provided great customer service. I would recommend this location for anyone who is looking for a storage unit.
