I wouldn't recommend this storage company at all. They have roach infestations and do absolutely nothing about it. I realize they are only nice to people in the beginning...just in order to get your money, business and a review. After that, the customer service is deplorable. They couldn't care less about your belongings. I reserved 3 units right next to each other and Lawrence sold one of my 3 units to someone else. He did this many times. He thought this was funny. All 3 of my units were supposed to be right next to each other and have a light. One of them didn't. They assured me that they'd fix the light. One year later, they never fixed the light inside the unit. See pictures below. They just kept giving me the run around. Both Lawrence and John had every excuse for not fixing the light. They delayed fixing it for a year. However, didn't delay in raising the rent 3 months after move in and then again during the roach infestation. They raised the rent on certain other customers too, after 3 months. Seems like they target people of a certain race. He moved out when they did this and said it was predatory behavior. They knew a tenant moved in and brought roaches and never informed me. When I discovered roaches almost 6 weeks ago, Bert said he'd already knew about them for a week. They didn't send anyone out to spray or even inform me or other tenants!!! 5 weeks went by and John and Bert did absolutely nothing. Nobody came to spray even though they claim they come twice a month. It was the middle of September and the employees knew and saw dead and crawling roaches all over the floor and inside and near my unit and others and did nothing. BERT gave me their email to email them the pics etc, then said he was advised by his boss not to respond to any of my emails. Like my lawyer says no response is a response!. They wanted to avoid a paper traila nd taking accountability. 5 weeks later, the same dead roaches were still lying on their backs in the hallway in the same places. They hadn't even swept or mopped the floors in over a month. The roaches are even on the carts people use to load and transport their property! They told me to come and meet the Nova spray company. I sat for hours on September 14th and they never showed up thay day or even that week or the following week. Bert and John had the typical nonchalant attitude and didn't care to address the issue in a prompt manner, nor did their bosses or corporate. They'd just shrug their shoulders and say theres nothing I can do. I haven't heard back from anyone They don't take initiative to teaxh out or be proactive to resolve the matter. The response is to sit around and do nothing or better yet,In fact, the response was to raise the rent AGAIN by over $70 for each unit...while knowing about my unit and the facility having roaches!! Imagine that!!They refused to provide me with their manager's name or email. They didn't apologize or even offer any type of compensation or reimbursement. In fact, they refused to allow me to switch to an empty units on a different floor so my belongings wouldn't continue to be infested. Bert advised that I'd have to pay an additional $100 to switch units of a comparable size. This company, facility and it's employees were content to let the roaches multiply and did absolutely nothing to address the roach issue for over a month or light issue for over a year!!. They clearly show you how greed is prioritized. They have homeless people, renting, living, and eating inside the units. If you're smart, you wouldn't choose this place. Johnny's favorite line is to say let me see what I can do about that or let me look into that and then do nothing. Chris and Lawrence no longer work there. They go through and change employees more than you change your underwear. As I type they still have a roach infestation and haven't addressed it. You've been warned. They have all the time in the world to sit at their desks with heads down on their cell phone playing video games, watching movies, on YouTube etc...but not work.
