My unit was broken into TWICE within 2 and a half months and I’ve barely had the unit for 6 months. There is no security patrolling the area (only sitting by the office door on their phone) and no security onsite when the property is closed DESPITE regular break-ins. I asked that I get a refund for this months rent or if anything could be done to levy the situation and was told nothing could be done besides filing a claim. Do not store your belongings here. They do not care about you or your stuff!!

BEWARE. DO NOT GET A STORAGE UNIT HERE. My storage was broken into during business hours!! Employees showed no remorse and said they kicked out the thieves. They also said, “don’t worry you still have some things left.” Mind you the storage unit was completely full of things. How is it possible that they are not diligent enough to know what is happening. They clearly have cameras. They never even mentioned during our call if they called police. At this point, I wouldn’t be shocked if the owners are in on it. Take your business elsewhere.

Dominique assisted us today and she was AWESOME - could not have been more lovely. She was helpful, kind, understanding and an all-around gem. We had to visit our unit today after we were notified of a break-in and she made what could have been a totally awful day so much more bearable. Very grateful she was the one on-site to assist. The company is extremely lucky to have her!

Dominique has been an incredible help. She has gone above and beyond to help me with my unit, especially during difficult times like a recent break-in. I would not still be a customer without her. I certainly wouldn't recommend Extra Space on East 12th St if she wasn't around. Thank you Dominique so much for your grace and kindness and patience and understanding and help.
