From one Southerner to another… thank you, Mike! Today was one of those long, stressful moving days, and I honestly needed someone who could make the process a little easier. From the moment Mike called me after I reserved my unit online, I knew I had found the right place. I had been considering a couple of other storage facilities, but after talking with him, my decision was made. Mike is incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took the time to answer every question without ever making me feel rushed. When I arrived at the office, he was helping another customer. What impressed me was that he didn’t cut corners with them, but he still acknowledged me with such warmth that I immediately felt welcomed. His energy felt like a much needed hug on a stressful day. Once it was my turn, he walked me through everything step by step. He explained the access hours, entry and exit gates, where to park the moving truck, and even gave me helpful suggestions on how to arrange my furniture and mattresses inside the unit to maximize the space. He even took me on a tour, which gave me so much peace of mind. By the time I left, I genuinely felt that my belongings would be safe there. That feeling came because Mike truly cares about his customers. His professionalism, patience, and Southern hospitality turned what could have been an overwhelming day into a reassuring experience. Extra Space Storage is fortunate to have someone like Mike representing their company. Customer service like this is becoming rare, and he absolutely deserves to be recognized.
