So the reason for my originally 3 star review was for the fact that during their business hours, the lights in the entire building go PITCH black. There are no windows or motion activated sensors to do anything about this and you have less than 2 minutes to reach your unit from the double doors… But what about if your unit happens to be the furthest possible distance from where you have the closest entrance? What are renters supposed to do? Run? lol. It’s not a very safe or comfortable environment for someone to not get startled by nothing but pitch black… Then let’s say you go and walk up to the inside wall of the double door and start attempting to switch the light switch to hopefully turn ON.. still a FAIL. I increased the rating from 3 to 4 stars because the business replied to me. Sorry for the bad rating before but you guys should do something about adding motion sensors that actually work throughout the 1st floor of your units. But thanks for wanting to inquire about my reason for the 3 star rating.

Gabriel and Joshua have been nothing but helpful, kind, and patient with all my questions. They totally rock and Extra Storage is lucky to have them. Thanks, guys!!! Oh, and the facility is great as well. Clean, safe, easy to maneuver around, and renting a space was painless. ????

My experience at this storage was more than amazing. Gabriel helped me with any questions or concerns that I had. He was very polite and patient when I had any questions. Gabriel made sure we were content with our storage. Overall it was a great experience with a great staff on board. They also have great deals!! Thank you guys again!!

Josh at Extra Space in Van Nuys is incredible! I’ve booked storage spaces before, with another company, and just assumed everyone at these places were jerks! Well!! Not here! Not only did Josh patiently explain everything to me, he got me in the storage unit same day! I felt very taken care of, completely clear on the contract and confident in my choice! I have been here over a year. It is clean abd they provide the moving dollies was perfect. My sisters and i were able load and unload with no problem.
