SO much better than previous storage experience! When looking for a storage space close to Monument I almost did not even call Extra Space due to the previous experience I had with a different Extra Space facility up in Denver. At the Denver facility, I would get the 6 month increase on rental rate as expected, first time it was 10%, second time it was 15%, third time another 15% which I contested and they brought it back down around 10%, then the fourth time it was an 80% increase and they negotiated it down to only 40% as though I was getting a deal even though their online advertised rates for the same unit were much cheaper...I was beyond frustrated and started looking for a place in Monument. I chose to at least call this Extra Space facility (even though I really didn't want to based on my previous E.S. experience) since their advertised rates are much cheaper than other facilities around Monument. I spoke with Kayla and she was extremely helpful explaining every question i had to ask. I was able to pre-pay to lock in a rate I was happy with and avoid the rate hikes I dealt with at the previous facility. Drive up option is great, facility is well monitored and secured, all-in-all glad I chose to not write this facility off because of the previous experience at a different E.S. facility.
