Mini U was wonderful for 4 years. moved my unit here to get AWAY from EXTRA space and now they've bought it out - raised rates and I could not be more sad and disappointed.

I rented a unit here as a method of avoiding Extra Space storage. As Mini U, the business was wonderful. In the short period since the takeover, my rates have been hiked without warning, a late fee was applied and INCREASED, and the unit insurance cost was also raised without warning. I was barely notified that they were even changing ownership. Buyer beware, do NOT rent a unit here. Extra space is a horrible company to rent from, with exorbitant rates.
