We got there 2 minutes before they closed.The gentleman that worked Thursday 7/25/24 was so helpful. He knew it was our first there. He made sure we found the unit and showed us how to use the lock. So greatful to him. So we did get his name. I would recommend Extra Storage ??

I rented a unit from Extra Storage Space ahead of time before a big move from another state, and it was fairly easy to do. Still, I had some questions so I called the office and had wonderful assistance and advice from Roxy Blackburn. She gave me a lot of peace of mind! Both Roxy and Richard have been very professional but especially they have been great in putting my mind at ease about all the details.

Did everything over the phone. Got a great web online discount. First-month free. Talk to staff when closing out and she was very pleasant. No waiting on the phone or in the office. The unit was very clean, however there was no air conditioning which made loading really uncomfortable. I alway use Extra Space, my go to for storage needs.

This is the second ExtraSpace storage unit I've rented. The facility is clean, though not as bright as the one in New Britain, it's well maintained. Conveniently located in Bloomfield and an easy drive from West Hartford. I need some temporary storage space while I'm moving. Roxy was very helpful in showing us our room size options, the loading dock and explaining our options for pricing, insurance, etc. She also took care of a small billing glitch and called us to let us know she'd taken care of it. Very happy with the experience. The only negatives. The back parking lot is in need of being repaved (there are some big potholes) and when leaving the facility, turning left on Cottage Grove Road during rush hour is a bit hair, but that's not Extra Space's fault. Just something to keep in mind for when we go over there, so we'll plan our visits for less busy times.
