If I could give this Extra Space Storage location negative 100 stars, I absolutely would! This facility is poorly maintained, dirty, and, quite frankly, feels unsafe. One of the elevators has been out of service for several months, which is completely unacceptable for a storage facility. Security is another major concern. People consistently leave the entrance doors open, allowing anyone to enter. I personally witnessed a man use some type of object to gain access because his entry code wasn't working. That alone raises serious questions about how secure this facility actually is. If you are a woman, please be careful! There is frequently a strong smell of marijuana throughout the building, and based on what I've observed, I suspect some individuals may even be living in the storage units. The parking lot is consistently filthy, and there are also rodent issues. They don't do snow removal in the winter. For a business that charges customers to protect and store their belongings, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance is inexcusable. And let's not forget the constant price increases! As other reviewers have mentioned, rates increase every few months. Customers are expected to pay more and more while the condition of the property and quality of service continue to deteriorate. Extra Space Storage needs to address its security, cleanliness, pest control, broken equipment, and excessive rate increases. Customers deserve a clean, safe, secure, and properly maintained facility, especially considering what we're paying. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and find somewhere else to store your belongings.
