I booked my unit online instantly hit with lock charges admin fees to the total of 119$ for a 50 dollar a month unit. Then upon arrival there was a lock on my unit and of course it was after office hours. So I get customer service on the phone and she keeps insisting that I'm at the wrong unit tells me that the site manager will call me back in 15 to 20 mins that call never came called back and told them a unit 2 units down is the same size and open they say they can't do a transfer and tell me id have to leave and come back the next day. Keep in mind I'm in a 29 ft uhaul with a 17 foot trailer and I just drove 2 hrs and my uhaul has to be back early the next morning which is a Sunday no office open. While on the phone I ask her if ill be able to get out as it was gate locking time she assured me I could when in fact I could not so fast forward 30 40 mins ahead and 2 more customer service ppl and then finally a American tech support guy help me and gave me an emergency exit code so I had to find somewhere safe to park the uhaul and trailer overnight. Got up next mourning and called and guess what they switched my unit to an open one problem solved right wrong as soon as I open the unit something looked off so I grabbed a tape measure from the car and my 10x10x24 unit is actually 9x10x21 now I know thats not much but when you rent storage space you should get what you pay for. When I brought it up to the office ppl which went out and confirmed my measurements he said according the the lease agreement all sizes are approximate???? So my suggestion is if you gonna use the show up early to make sure your unit is empty and lock free and bring a tape measure with you a 10x24 is really a 10x20 and a 10x20 is a 8x17 and so on. False advertisement and ripping ppl off
