Great storage facility! Reserved storage space online and received a discount. All move in directions and next steps were sent to my preferred method of communication. A customer service rep then called to ensure I had all details, access to download the app, and if there were any questions. Very helpful and made move in day a breeze. Brittany and team were very professional, knowledgeable, and provided all onsite details needed and showed us to our unit. Onsite carts and dolly's are available at no cost, which came in very handy. Additional packing and moving supplies offered for sale onsite. Secure parking lot and building with gate and code access is nice when you have multiple trips to unload/load. Best storage facility I've rented from yet and recommend!

I really enjoy the professional and courteous service I received from Miche who had extensive knowledge of the products that you offered and were able to help me with exactly with what I need it. The process was simple. It was fast and they explained to be thoroughly Wells covered, I can’t say enough that I am really glad I found something that I needed and through the great services provided I got I believed more than what I deserved. I highly recommend extra space.

I rented a 10x5 unit at Extra Space Storage at 812 NW 1st St in Fort Lauderdale. I signed the paperwork on May 17 for a base rent of $47/month plus $11/month for insurance, a one-time $29 admin fee, a one time $21.39 lock fee, and $4.40 in taxes. After all the one time payments and first month was paid, my total monthly rent came to $59.52/month. Everything was great until I received a notice at the end of August that my rent would nearly double. This sudden increase was disappointing and ultimately led to my decision to move out. I set my move-out date for September 11 but vacated the unit on September 6 and notified them that same day. I'm still waiting on a confirmation email. Aside from the rent increase, customer service, safety, and everything else was good, but the unexpected price hike was the dealbreaker for me.
