BEWARE! UNITS INFESTED and MOLD DAMAGE! I tried to move out of my storage unit last Friday and bugs were crawling all over my things. They look like book mice which are attracted to humidity and mold (At first I thought mites, but they are larger than mites, they are brown, tiny and move fast). I saw multiple areas of water leaks and mold in the corner. This is not climate controlled as promised. When I let the manager, Brooke know, she refused to do anything. Then when I told her I found out from my movers that other tenants have moved out because they had an infestation, she told me she would call pest control. She never did. When I told her about the pool of water and mold near the front door, she just said, “oh that’s the AC,” but failed to remediate it. I sent her a demand letter to remediate the unit with pest control and remediate the mold. She ignored it. I have a severe mold allergy and ongoing autoimmune issues. Now I have to purchase $1,000s of replacement items due to this issue. I will be filing a complaint with corporate (if I can ever get a hold of them) as well as the BBB and seeking further action. DO NOT RENT HERE!!

Went to help a friend move some things and everything was infested with mites. As we return our Uhaul box truck to Compass Storage (literally right next door) the ladies behind the desk said there was a man leaving Extra Space because of Mites. This leaves me to believe there’s an infestation at this location. Avoid at all cost. We had to reschedule our help until they get the bug problem under control
