Been using these guys for years. They are friendly and accommodating. The new owners, which are Extra Space, are corporate so the personal touch from the previous owners are lost. They crammed more units into some extra spaces around the property to have more available units. My last parent passed away and I cleaned out the 2 units they had and I got a personal unit to store all the stuff I decided to keep. I signed up online and paid extra for a lock I did not need as I already had 2 from previous units but did not have the option to opt out and provide my own. That was an extra $20 added to unit at time of sign up. You can pay by credit or debit online through their app. The company has multiple Storage unit locations, some with slight variations on the name so make sure you know name and location of the one you use. Move out was fairly easy, notified them it was empty. You do not get refunded for any time left on your month if you move out before due date. Once you have paid for the month, its done. April 21-May21 is my month. I paid and moved out of unit on May 4 (14 out of 30 days) but I dont get refunded for the remaining days left of the month (15 days). They just keep the money and their is nothing you can do about it. Be aware of this in case you have a large portion of the month left when you move out of the unit. Move out closer to your due date so you dont lose money.
