Whatever price they introduce you at is a lie. I was originally getting a unit for $139 a month. however this price is basically the lowest you'll pay in a month as they use a surge pricing system. Over the summer and fall months price surge up to $270 a month for a temperature controlled unit. This is damn near criminal as they're basically saying the units are more valuable during these months to them even though their costs stay the damn same. This is problematic as they've basically bought most every other storage company in the area save for a few. Ladies and gentlemen, this would be a darn good argument for buying yourself a storage shed and sticking a window AC in it... Update 2026: And they're back at it again! They've officially changed my rate The 262 a month for the same unit well at the same time they're offering considerable first floor the units online for $150 USD, what exactly is gone up for their end? Did electricity get that much more expensive that my share is $110 a month for a 10x20 unit? Did rent go up for them? No, what's happening is they see I haven't been there in a few months and used my gate code, which means their algorithm automatically decided I was probably one that they could do that too since I've been paying my bill every month thus far... They'll claim it's 'summer surge prices' but what it really is is corporate greed that they put a name on believing my corner of the market on supply and demand for storage... You want to look up something fun? Google the extra space storage bait and switch lawsuit for this year and see exactly what this company thinks of its customers!

Great storage! Well maintained and kept clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly! When I lost the key to my lock, they cut my lock off at no charge. I highly recommend Extra Space storage!!
