Locked our storage unit after not paying for a couple days. My paycheck had come late that week. They were not accommodating or accepting of that at all. They even blocked my phone number from the gate code, so I used my father’s to get in. I only have a 5x4 unit as well and pay $60. Which is extremely overpriced for such a small unit. The company who owned this building previously, Hide-away was MUCH better. They were 24 hours open and had much better prices. Ever since it switched to Extra Space Storage, the prices have skyrocketed, no longer 24 hours, and barely ac controlled. It is surprisingly hot inside for having “ac”. I am promptly going to speak with managers tomorrow and remove my stuff from my unit.
