Extra space storage has been a huge help in storing any of my personal belongings and helping me with any issues i may have or run into with the Application or related to my unit. Kristee in the office is very nice and helpful as well

This is the second time I’ve rented from ExtraSpace and both times I’ve been super impressed very clean facilities very knowledgeable staff this last check-in was so quick and painless. I couldn’t believe it.

Update 5/26 It's that time of year for renewing our long term pre-paied contract and we got the notice in the mail of an enormous increase. Rates on the site were much lower. Contacting our local facility, Kristie (Christy?) took ownership and was in our corner. She got us the same rate as new renters and made the experience the most pleasant we've ever experienced with Extra Space Storage. thank you! See edit/updated Review below my original review Original 5 star Review: Matt and Matt went completely out of their way to show me the various options, walk me through and physically see each potential unit that might suit my needs. Pro's and cons of the options were clearly and honestly explained as well. It is obvious that they enjoy what they do, take a lot of pride in keeping this facility in top shape, and care a lot about customers. This location is clean, orderly, and the Matts stay on top of the 500+ units. Update to my former 5 star review. After only 5 months of rental, I received a bill increase from $122 to $140/mo (plus tax and insurance totals $175 for a 10x10' unit)without any email or paper mail notice. No communication, explanation, or justification. Corporate told me that rates are controlled locally, and the local site told me it is controlled by Corporate. I now know that 5, 9 month increases are not only standard, but are not communicated up front, unless someone specifically asks about it. Local sites are told not to inform potential customers of this. The callous and unethical approach upsets me far more than the $19 increase. Note: My unit was not on a special promotion that ran out after 5 months. It simply increased by 15% after 5 months, and who knows what increase I will see after 9 more months, and then another 9 months, etc. So, from a corporate perspective, Extra Space Storage, instead of treasuring and rewarding loyal customers who are auto-debited, and pay every month without fail, instead punishes them with unfair rate increases. They'd rather spend marketing dollars on finding new customers. Now that I know that my long term relationship is not valued, I will be looking for other storage options. Extra Space Storage raises your rates after 5 months and then every 9 months after that (and hopes you don't notice)! Update 8/15/2018 - After mostly backing down (except for $10) on the increase last time, it's now 9 months later, and on cue, a postcard arrived announcing a massive increase in price, based on their "assessment of local prices". This despite that other storage companies in the area have not changed their rates. As soon as the weather cools off we're going to move our stuff elsewhere.
