Local staff and facility are great. Access to the property and our unit is convenient. My only problem, and it's a big one, are the repeated rate increases. We've been in our current (10x10) unit just over three years and our "web rate" rent is now double what it was when we first got the unit. It's actually more than 2.5x what the current advertised web rates are. The first increase came a few months after we rented the unit, then a couple times a year, with the most recent being last week. The local office staff is sympathetic, but ultimately can't help with rate increases dictated at the corporate level. Five stars for the facility and local office staff, but I'd only recommend Extra Space Storage for short-term needs. Otherwise be prepared to pay more and more...and more.
