I originally gave a 5-star review because I felt put on the spot to leave one right after speaking with the staff member who was scheduled that day. At the time, I didn’t think much of it since the facility itself looked nice. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience since then. I understand that employees can have busy and stressful days, and that there’s a lot to stay on top of. However, keeping the restrooms clean should be a consistent priority. No one should have to wonder what condition the bathroom is going to be in each time they walk in. Since I’ve been renting here, I honestly have not seen the bathroom in what I would consider a clean state. I come in frequently, either every day or every other day, so this isn’t based on a one-time visit. The bathroom needs more thorough and consistent cleaning. That includes the toilet area, the floors around it, the walls next to it, the sink area, underneath the sink, the pipes, everything. There have also been multiple times where there was no toilet paper available. That’s extremely frustrating and shouldn’t be happening at all. As a Certified Professional House Cleaner, I understand how unpleasant it can be to clean a restroom, especially when it’s in bad condition. But at the same time, it’s part of the job. Anyone taking on this role knows that upfront. If it’s being avoided, then it may be worth reconsidering staffing to ensure the job is actually being done properly. On another note, I was also affected by the recent rental increase, which I find unreasonable. There should be more transparency in the terms from the beginning. Advertising one price and then increasing it over time without clear expectations isn’t fair. Based on other reviews, it’s clear I’m not the only one who feels this way. If this continues, it’s likely going to push more customers away.
