I wish I could say I would recommend this place. But sadly I can not. I called from Florida advised I would be doing a cross country move and asked if they were near east Peoria. They assured me they were. But it doesn’t seem to be close to my new house at all. Upon arriving at almost midnight, when we open the storage it is dirty. Broken glass, feathers. Large staples and dirty Qtips in the unit. It’s roughly 15 minutes after midnight so I don’t have a broom handy and I’m pissed I have to move my furniture and stuff into this dirty unit. Also I bought my own lock with me because the lady I booked with told me that my unit would take two different kinds of locks and my cylinder lock would work. It did not. Luckily there was a lock left in the unit. Who knows if this will end up being something else I have to pay for. Because no one has bothered to call me back. I’ve now left two messages requesting a call back. And also sent a message to the facility. When I booked the unit I asked, if I arrive and have any problems will I be able to easily contact someone, she assured me I would. Well I have not been able to reach anyone except customer service people who apparently can’t do anything but send an email. I had planned to use this unit for a couple months while the house is being remodeled but I will make sure to find a clean unit somewhere before the first bill is due even if I have to pay even more money to get my stuff relocated somewhere clean, where I can reach a manager if needed.

DO NOT RECOMMEND UPDATE 10/2025 - Rates increasing AGAIN now to $215/mo - that is over 4 TIMES the original amount I signed up at in March 2024 UPDATE- received another notice by mail Dec 2024 that the rates are going up to $196/month - that’s a $131/mo increase in less than a year, ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! I set up my storage rental here in March, I have been very pleased great rates, convenient location, secure, etc. I just received a notice by mail today that effective 7/1 my unit rent will be increased from $65/mo to $124 ?????? a $59/mo increase, that’s INSANE!! Not pleased at all.
