I got a unit from these people earlier this week it ended up being too small and I found a better deal with another location same company extra space storage but on Preston I tried to move to that unit these people told me even though I called the same day I bought the unit that I could not transfer to that other location and that they could not give me a refund because I paid with cash and they don't give cash refunds so I came up here two days later and got a larger unit The unit was posted online for $34 a month for a 4x12 so I got there thinking I would just have to pay the difference also he told me I could not get the $34 rate I had to take a $38 rate which again is ridiculous this was the manager Nathan who also told me the other day what can we do to keep you at this location then when I come back he does me like this these people will take advantage of your hardship I would highly not recommend anyone use this place and make the same mistakes

Upon entering extra space storage to attempt to rent the unit I need I was told there was this location and another one on national turnpike I wasn't told about the Preston highway one where the rates were much lower even for larger units and I simply was not able to fit everything I needed to fit in my unit in there so I tried to transfer it to the Preston highway location same day I purchased it I was told I couldn't do so even though it was the same company then I was told I could not get a refund either because I paid in cash what in the hell kind of refund policy is that if you pay in cash you get cash back if you pay with a card it goes back on your card depending on your method of payment is how you get your repayment I've never heard of we just don't refund you we just can't refund you I haven't even moved in my unit basically screwed out of $60 how can you make that make sense oh you're not eligible for a refund because you paid with cash I bet you I won't ever pay again

I have an indoor storage unit on National Turnpike, pay over a hundred dollars a month. The main gate has been broken for a week. I called on a Sunday to report could not reach anyone, so I called first thing Monday morning was told it would be fixed that afternoon. Went back the following Friday and it’s still not fixed. Also, they no longer have a hand cart inside because people keep stealing it and they have no plans to replace it.

We are concerned to hear about the broken gate and missing hand cart, Jenny. Please call us at (502) 935-7900 so we can resolve these issues promptly.
