Signed up Oct 19 and moved in the same day. The location off Crain Highway/MD-3 is easy to get to, the entrance is good, and there’s plenty of parking. Staff were polite and got me set up fast (not overly friendly, but I wasn’t looking for a new best friend). Now the part to know before you sign up: the listing advertised $18 a month, and by the time I checked out it was $21. I paid $50 total for the smallest unit with fees, and the lock was included, so that part was fine. Also, 24-hour access is not standard here. Without it you only get access until 10 pm, and the same size unit with 24-hour access is $40 a month, so the real price depends on what you need. They also pushed their insurance at $11 a month, but I got coverage through my renter’s policy for less (worth checking yours first and make sure they offer pest coverage. extra storage likes to advertise theirs for that specifically). The biggest letdown: I was told the unit will be inaccessible from the 26th to the 29th because of maintenance on the 3rd floor. I’d just moved in and already paid for the full month, and they didn’t offer to move me or give any other option. I’m storing inventory I sell, so daily access matters a lot. If that’s you, ask about upcoming maintenance and access hours before you commit. Clean, convenient facility, but double check the pricing and access details.
