Clean dry place. Not too far off of route 495. Larry is a nice guy. Easy to work with. Also, the bathroom is clean and well kept.

The pros - it's a storage unit - it is accessible 24hrs - my items stayed dry - nothing was damaged or stolen - it is almost never crowded - there are a lot of carts, but sometimes you need to hunt them down The cons - the raising of prices. Obviously there is an introductory price, then the regular price. My unit went from the introductory rate of $78/month in 2020, to $93/month in 2021 to $112, $134, $160, $189 and the most recent change effective next month is going to $208/month. The price increased 17.5% per year and the new price is 2.24 times the original rate. - the building. There are a few large roll up doors, 1 small roll up door and 2 secured doors to enter the building. The secured door and a large roll up door closest to my unit have been out-of-order for months. I was there in March and April then again in June and the out-of-order signs remain. - the elevators. There are 2 elevators. One is frequently out of service. The other starts to close as you are moving items in or out of the elevator. The alarm then sounds and the doors slowly creep open. You have to wait for the door to fully open before using the elevator. I used the chat feature on the website to discuss the cost and the response was curt and unaccommodating. They said they review raising prices and mine was due to be raised, there was nothing they could do. So I moved out. There are plenty of other storage unit companies in the area at much lower prices. It took 3 hours, but I am now paying $60/month and will save over $880 between now and the end of the year. I know the new place will raise their rates, but hopefully not at the alarming rate Extra Space Storage did.
