1 Star — BEWARE OF THE PRICE INCREASES I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Extra Space Storage. When I rented my storage unit, the advertised promotional price was $89 per month. I moved all of my belongings in and got settled, thinking that was the price I would be paying. In less than four months, my monthly payment was increased from $89 to $176 — almost DOUBLE the original price. I feel this is extremely misleading. Customers should be clearly warned before renting that the promotional rate can increase this drastically in such a short amount of time. Once you have moved all of your belongings into a storage unit, it is a huge inconvenience to pack everything up, rent a truck, and move somewhere else, and I feel they know that. I am posting this review to warn other customers: do not assume the advertised price is what you will continue paying. Ask exactly how long the promotional rate is guaranteed and how soon they can increase your rent. I understand that prices can increase over time, but going from $89 to $176 in less than four months is excessive and unacceptable in my opinion. I would not have rented here if I had known my rate could nearly double this quickly. BEWARE before you move all of your belongings in. And its the smallest unit!!!!

Rented A unit a few years back, and they were extremely attentive, professional, and present. The facility was very clean and someone was always available on site during business hours. Currently storing at a different Company and have noted that the service is not the same as it was at Extra Space. Christina was very helpful.
