I give Extra space storage two stars for friendly staff and ease of communication through phone, text and email. However, I know I’m not the only one that has almost got rooked in by hidden fees and bait and switch pricing. I went to book a unit today after multiple conversations with these people. Not one of the staff told me about mandatory insurance. One lady did warn me about the bait and switch monthly offer. I’m not happy. I found a much cheaper place for a 10x20 unit for $80. I’m paying $185 at another place. I will be saving $105/mo on a tight budget. You can’t beat that. Unfortunately, it won’t be with you guys. I think corporate greed has taken over.
