Very disappointing it is a beautiful place. No doubt, but the power’s been out apparently for three days here management does not care that we cannot get in our units and get what we need to get out of the unit. Neither does the answering service they take the calls And they do not help you at all now there’s been plenty of time to get this power back on. I do not understand why this is not happening.

I am posting this because what happened went beyond rude customer service and raised a legitimate safety concern for me. I paid my balance one day late, including the required late fee. I then waited several hours before going to my storage unit, only to find that the facility’s overlock still had not been removed and I still could not access my unit. While I was there with my son, Orion was walking down the hallway. I told my son that we would apparently have to wait for him to remove the lock. Orion immediately became snarky and began making comments about my having paid late, seemingly trying to embarrass me over it. I responded that I had paid one day late, paid the late fee, and asked what the problem was. Instead of simply addressing the access issue, he began arguing with me. At that point I immediately asked for his manager’s name. He responded, “I AM THE MANAGER.” I then asked for his manager, supervisor, or the owner’s information so that I could escalate the situation. He refused to provide it. I told him directly that I was a customer and that he was not going to speak to me that way. I also pointed out how concerning the situation would have been if I had been there alone. Fortunately, my son was with me and witnessed the entire interaction. When I later called attempting to speak with someone else about what happened, Orion hung up on me. There are additional safety concerns with this facility as well. I did not see clearly posted management or escalation information, an obvious way to obtain help if there is a problem, or clear maps/signage showing customers how to navigate the facility and easily locate exits. For me, this is not about being charged a late fee. I paid the balance and the fee. The issue is that my access still had not been restored hours later, and when I questioned it, the employee responsible became confrontational, attempted to shame me over a one-day-late payment, refused to provide any higher-level contact information, and later hung up when I tried to reach someone else. A customer—especially someone visiting a storage facility alone—should have a clear way to reach management, obtain assistance, identify exits, and report an employee’s conduct without that same employee being able to control the entire escalation process. Management or ownership should review this incident, Orion’s conduct, and the facility’s customer-safety procedures. Another serious concern is the apparent audio monitoring inside the facility. My son and I were on the second floor by my storage unit while Orion was in his office, yet he was clearly able to hear our conversation. We could hear the system being turned on and off and could hear him speak through it when it was activated. That made it apparent to us that our conversation was being monitored remotely. Customers should be clearly informed if audio surveillance is being used, and this raises significant privacy and safety concerns. Heather on the other hand is someone that should be in charge as she can speak to customers professionally and does not make women feel unsafe. She is clear, polite and communicates very well. It's her entire attitude that needs to be replicated with an on-site manager who potentially hasba background in facilities management. If a simple interaction is going to rattle someone they are probably not the best fit to run an environment like this. **UPDATE** A District Manager contacted me after I provided my move-out date, but offered no solutions or reassurance and appeared to question what I reported. I have also requested a copy of my contract for the third time, and it still has not been provided. The district manager failed to pull the video of the entire interaction so I suggest that someone do that. Especially since the employee lied. Please remind your employees that unauthorized recording or interception of private communications may violate federal and state law. I also understand the local Fire Marshal has been on-site regarding safety concerns. These issues need to be taken seriously and addressed.
