Still in the first month of renting a storage unit so if I feel I need to update in a more positive or less positive direction I will do so in the future. That said, decided to utilize the Bloomington location and was greeted by Sherry at the front desk. She was very nice and kind and answered any of the questions I had! She helped me pick out the right size for my current needs and even found me a unit on a different floor that better suited my situation. So far no complaints and I hope this stays true as moving in itself is enough of a headache and having a peace of mind for simplicity and security is very important. Not sure if the building is newer but regardless it appears well taken care of clean. The inner units are def temp controlled (warm inside when cold outside and so on I’m guessing) but if you are looking for something specific for very sensitive items you may want to confirm or see what exact options are available for you to ensure it will indeed work. The pull in feature is nice but can get a tad tricky when multiple people arrive. Just have to communicate and coordinate with the other partie/s, something any grown mature person can do ??. It does not appear that the Bloomington location is heavily packed. It’s mostly pretty calm when I’m there. On one occasion a lady pulled in after me and I moved over for her but got “stuck” in while waiting for her to finish as I finished before her lol. She was very kind and pulled out so I could get out. Just keep this in mind if you have to pull in. As for the locks themselves, I was skeptical and not sure which lock to get, so I decided to just show up and see what they offered or if they had any recommendations. They have their own style locks that you get when you agree to join and pay. They work just fine for me. It’s not the locks I was expecting, but nothing hangs or sticks out. You just slide the metal slide over and push the cylinder lock into the hole, turn key and it sits flush or even in a tad. There is insurance you must get and they offer it. Not sure if you can or get use other!? Didn’t ask as I was just in a rush to get this done. It’s reasonable but there will be more on the total but you will be advised of all of this information. They will not spring it on you or surprise you on your bill. The app is easy and clean- meaning the UI is friendly and it’s easy to navigate. I guess that about sums it up for now. If I feel I need to change something or I forgot something, I’ll be sure to update. Thanks again Sherry for being nice and answering all my questions :)
