BEWARE!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! I needed a space for 1 month to store personal items in between moves. I paid upfront for 2 months (one month was included) and made it very clear that I will only be renting for two months. I called the manager at this location 3 or 4 times because my account on the app was showing a $270.00+ balance (significantly more than I paid per month initially) and I wanted to be very clear that I’ll be gone well before my “move out date.” I was assured that I absolutely would not be charged any additional amount so long as I am moved out before my end date and was essentially laughed at on the phone for following up on this a couple times. I had my unit empty, everything moved out about 10 days before my “move out date.” Left it empty, completely the way I found it, much earlier than I had it rented for. Now, days after my “move out date” I received a text asking for payment. I’m being charged for every day since my move out, even though I actually moved out almost two weeks ago, because I didn’t leave the door open. The manager I talked to said I’d have to come back to the facility to open up my unit and prove that it’s empty- that I’ll be charged for the whole month if I don’t settle up for the days I was “still using the unit.” Long story short- I proactively called at least 3 times to avoid additional charges and am still paying extra because I didn’t leave the door open. You’d think that would come up in conversation! Would avoid this storage facility if you are looking to rent short term and not get charged after your move out date.
We are very sorry to hear about the frustration and confusion surrounding your move-out process and recent billing.
