We just moved to the area less than a week ago and needed somewhere to store the totes and boxes, rented a 5X15 unit online, even paid 6 months in advance. Get to the facility last night to unload to find out that the lift to get to the unit is inoperable, with no ETA on repair. At NO point during the rental process or signing of the lease was there any disclosure that we could not have lift access to get to the unit. So obviously, we could not unload the items we had. We have a unit, we have a lock, but no way to access it.

They ask you to do a review before 6 months comes when they jack up your rate . Month 9 on my contract they raised it to DOUBLE . I tried to get people on the phone about it no one returned my calls. The managers are constantly changing . They don't have an email to reach out to and customer support gives you their direct line and I've called multiple times to talk about them jacking up my rate 100% no one answers . They are charging less for a 10x10 right now and I only have a 5x10. It's bad business to say it's "market value/price" is crazy when your renting vacant units for less , it's exploitation of your customers. Especially ones who are disabled and just can't move everything quickly. They say you send the notices of increase , will send you the PDF of them, yet they never show up in the actual mail.
