DO NOT RENT A UNIT HERE IF YOU ARE NOT WHITE. I have been renting a unit here for 2 years. The woman that sold me the unit asked me many unessacery questions. She asked for my proof of employment, and proof of mailing to confirm that my address was in Corrales. I later realized that was totally superfluous on her part. Every time I come to my unit I enter the code and access it with out issue. But when she is present on the property during those times she stops me at the gate and questions whether I'm a customer or if I need anything. I never need anything and I never see her asking other customers this. Today she made me feel like she just flat out doesn't want me there. At 430pm. After I came through the gate I waved to her, and she immediately got up out of her chair to approach me. She asked me if I needed anything, I said no. She asked me if I had a unit here, I said yes. She asked me if it's my first time here, I said no, I have been renting with you for years. Se didn't seem to even be embarrassed. She told me she has never seen me before. And I asked her if there's any issue with me accessing my unit today. She said no, and she stopped her self from saying what ever poor excuse she had for judging me based on my look. I said okay and politely informed her that she was the same woman that infact sold me this unit. Then I attended to my business. Doesn't she have cameras and a record system? Doesn't she have a copy of my id? Why is she following me, and trying to stop me from accessing my unit? I'm not doing anything wrong. And my bill is paid many months in advanced. I would have cancelled today if I hadn't paid already. She is not a good person. And I will be terminating my rental here. Perhaps Loma Larga is a better location? If anyone knows any other options in the area I will gladly be taking my money there.
