RODENTS!!!! THE WORST! UNETHICAL BUSINESS!!! STEER CLEAR!!! RODENT INFESTATION AND THE STAFF ARE TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! I was shocked and horrified at the state of my storage unit. Every surface was covered in mouse droppings. I don't mean a poop here or there. I mean COVERED. Literally COVERED. Some of my furniture had sheets over it for protection. We threw away 27 sheets and other furniture covers because they were covered in rodent droppings. We went and bought gloves and clorox wipes to work in the unit because it felt unsafe. We wondered if we should be wearing masks to not breathe it. That much rodent excrement is bad for you.There were rodent nests in the stored boxes, in my sofa, in the rugs. No upholstered furniture in the unit can be used again. It will need to be reupholstered, and not only reupholstered but have the stuffing replaced. If these weren't family furniture pieces I inheritied, they would be trashed. The rugs will have to go through an expensive cleaning process to be used again, and it is unclear if they can be used at all. There had clearly been moisture or water of some sort in the unit. There was mildew on the wood furniture and there was mildew in some of the cardboard boxes and all over the contents. The contents of several boxes was thrown out for mildew. This was not at all what I expected to find in my unit. I was crushed at the loss of items, disgusted at the condition of my things, and mad that I have paid for climate controlled storage and it seemed to not have been controlled at all, and that to use any of my things in that unit again I will have to pay a lot of money to have them cleaned and repaired. THE STAFF ONSITE REFUSE TO TELL ME WHO I SHOULD TALK TO ABOUT THIS!!! Do not trust this company with your belongings.

Well it looks like people are still mad about the up and down prices . Nothing new but what people should be doing is getting rid of there insurance that the company offers , because less than 3% use there insurance in any one store and the rest are just giving there money away and when extra space owns the own insurance company so there just taking you to the cleaners. In your contract states insurance is optional and you can do away with it at any time and if any member of management tells you otherwise then just call there 1 888 number to make a complaint. The store managers and the District Manager will just lie to you . Like why would you get insurance when your in a climate control building , mice don't walk up walls and it's already temp controlled so why when you can just tell them you have your own and NO you don't need any proof , and again call there 1 888 number if told otherwise because insurance is nothing but an 100% SCAM all the way . The rising of prices well that's an even bigger SCAM and should look else where if not happy . COMPANY CARES MORE ABOUT PROFIT THEN THERE CUSTOMERS OR ASSOCIATES , that's why turnover is so high and we'll it doesn't help when the company doesn't want to admit when they have bad upper management ( MATTHEW CONNER ;) and instead of fixing the problem they just keep the bad help cause it's cheaper and well the less work on them the better . So good luck to anyone that doesn't take this warning seriously
