Amanda at Extra Space Storage was absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful, professional, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free from start to finish. She took the time to answer all my questions, explained everything clearly, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right storage solution. Customer service like hers is hard to find these days. I highly recommend coming here and asking for Amanda if you need storage. Great experience overall!

I normally would never post something years later, but this experience in 2022 genuinely stayed with me because of how upsetting and humiliating it was for my husband and I. I’ve thought about it so many times over the years and honestly regret never speaking up about it sooner. We went in simply trying to get clarification about a sudden rate increase after getting nowhere over the phone. We were never given proper notice and just wanted answers regarding why our rent had increased so quickly in such a short amount of time. Instead of being treated like paying customers with a concern, we were immediately met with hostility. The interaction escalated almost instantly. Before we could even properly explain ourselves, the manager became confrontational, dismissive, and spoke to us in a way that felt degrading and disrespectful. We were treated like we were there to cause trouble rather than customers asking legitimate questions. What has bothered me all these years is how quickly assumptions seemed to be made about us — especially about my husband, who is one of the least confrontational people I know. Of course, by that point we were frustrated as well because we felt like we weren’t being heard and the situation was escalating unnecessarily. However, I still cannot believe how quickly the police were brought into the situation and how we were made to feel unwelcome, stereotyped, and looked down on instead of helped. I can still remember leaving there shocked over how badly the situation was handled and how unprofessional the interaction became. No customer should walk away feeling like that for simply asking questions about their rental rates. I truly hope things have changed since then, because no one deserves to be treated the way we were. I wish we were to have had the same experience as most people had with Allie but it was absolutely horrible.

Amanda was helpful as always. She has earned the nickname "rock star", she is and I certainly hope she is due a big fat raise!
