When you move in for a lower rate it is simply what management likes to call a "promotion." I lost everything in hurricane Helene and had to move all of my stuff from Asheville to hickory because of the devastation there. I have been met with nothing but rent/rate increases. I am now paying three times what I started at. They don't care about customer loyalty. They don't care about you paying on time. They don't care that you lost everything in a hurricane and the items you do own are stored in their facility. All they care about is money. So if you are considering moving here just understand that you will pay triple if not more within a year. And they will say to you that it's simply the going rate or the market rate. And that they were more lenient with the prices when they didn't have as many customers but now that the facilities almost full they're going to charge as much as they possibly can. I just had major surgery and I'm not allowed to lift anything but as soon as I am I will be moving my stuff out of the storage unit. You have been warned. Do NOT rent here. And a lot of the positive reviews are simply people that just moved in that are being told they have to leave a review. Trust me the narrative will change quickly as soon as they start getting their rate increases.
