Tigard Self Storage at 7600 SW Atlanta St

Just finished a year of storage rental at this facility. Had a wonderful experience here. Customer service is awesome and I never had issues with the facility. Access was always easy and always clean. Extra space storage will always have my business if I ever need a storage unit in the future.

Joe, the manager, who was working the shaw street location in beaverton the day we were moving out was absolutely outstanding. He was kind, sweet, and incredibly patient while we dealt with several dilemmas during our move-out. He went above and beyond to help us and genuinely made a stressful situation so much easier. His ethics, professionalism, and work ethic are top-tier, and he truly deserves recognition—honestly, a higher management position. Joe is the definition of real customer service and appreciation. Highly recommend this location because of him.

I was glad to get my belongings out of their storage unit. When I first moved in they raised the price considerably three times in a year and they also make you buy a overpriced particular lock to put on the door. I would not recommend this place to anybody. I had to give them one star in order to post this I don't think I would have given them even one

They can't wait to schedule an overdue unit to auction. They have no heart or care for your stuff or your situation. My bill is due on the 11th every month. Timber was paid, as soon as October was 5 days late I was locked out of my unit with a $20 late fee. And when I gathered the money to pay the overdue balance in early November, it was some type of ridiculous amount for a very small 5 x 8, and was already scheduled for auction Dec 9. Not even 3 months. And every time you are late paying monthly rent the cost each month going forward increases a couple dollars. The facility I use has such a small lot, very small footprint but it goes up 5 or 6 stories high. They are making so much money. Oh and their special locks are 20 dollars, I had to buy another one because when I got locked out they change the lock to a red facility lock. I'm not sure if they are nationwide but I had heard horror stories from other renters here in PDX and surrounding, and my family in southern California said they are a nightmare as well. He's not even overdue, they just keep chasing him out of the complex when he is trying to organize his unit to grab and sell his tools. "It's a drop and go facility." Find a better place. DONT RISK LOSING YOUR STUFF IF YOU RUN INTO HARDSHIP!
