I had a great experience with Extra Space Storage. It was easy to rent, access, and eventually cancel a storage unit. The facility is secure and well-maintained, and generally isn't very crowded. Customer service was excellent, I spoke with Tyler on the phone a couple of times, he was super friendly and made everything very easy to understand. There is a convenient mobile app for unlocking doors and managing the account. My only minor gripe with this is that the list of doors to unlock will randomly rearrange itself - you will try to unlock the lobby door, the list will move before you can press it, and suddenly you accidentally open the wrong door, and then get locked out for a minute. Of course, you can always fall back to entering a code on a pin pad, which is pretty easy, so this isn't a big problem.
