Rented a 10x20 in North Wales to store a collector car for the winter months. There was an introductory rate when I signed the month-to-month lease. There was a fair amount of paperwork, including proof of vehicle registration and insurance, plus the same for a second vehicle if I pulled the collector car out. This was understandable and Shawn the manager was helpful in expediting. The unit was clean (although I swept it again) and dry. I was pleasantly surprised to see a single bulb light on a timer, and a public access outlet outside the unit which was helpful for inflating tires, an extra work light and vacuum while I prepped the car for storage. There is no electric inside the unit, so I was unable to put the car battery on a trickle charger. I simply disconected it instead. On a couple of checks over the winter, everything remained clean and dry. The only thing I did not like was my introductory rate ended after 2-3 months. Shawn was helpful here too, helping me negotiate a lower increased monthly rate. I did not care for the sales pitch when I terminated my lease to continue it for the rest of the year. I will take my chances to reserve a unit in the early fall when/if needed. Overall a good experience at Extra Space Storage in North Wales.
