This review is not a personal attack on Brian or Kelly. My issue is with how a situation was handled—or more accurately, not handled. While renting units at this facility, the main entry gate was out of service and management began using the exit gate as both the entrance and exit. As an architect and civil engineering professional who has worked on site and storage facility design, I understand that entrances and exits are designed differently for traffic flow and vehicle safety. One day, we arrived to pick up our company trailer and immediately noticed it was no longer positioned where we had left it. The trailer jack had clearly been moved, and upon inspection, we found damage consistent with a vehicle striking it while turning into the facility. There are cameras near the entrance, and Kelly advised that she reviewed the footage but did not see anything. The damage itself is not my issue. We repaired the trailer without involving insurance. My issue is the complete lack of follow-up and communication afterward. I made multiple calls, emails, and left voicemails seeking answers, but there was little to no meaningful communication from management. To make matters worse, our company rented two units at this location and both experienced significant rate increases shortly after the incident. We spoke 2 other companies (at the same facility, and 1 at another ExtraSpace at another Location) who advised that increases are common, but all 3 had not experienced similar increases. I cannot say whether the timing was coincidental, but it certainly raised concerns. As a business owner myself, I understand that you cannot always give customers the outcome they want. What you can do is communicate. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase answers regarding an issue that occurred on your property. If customer service, communication, and follow-through are important to you, I cannot recommend this location based on my experience. Update: WE MOVED OUT.
