Update 2026: I am still extremely pleased with Extra Space aka Life Storage. I called yesterday to let them know I will be moving my mother's things out of the space next week, and the young lady was very kind and professional and only asked that I leave the door open and the lock off once the unit is empty. Again, a very easy experience. I highly recommend them! 2024: Life Storage provides a wonderfully seamless experience. I had to quickly move my mother from assisted living in one facility to memory care in another facility, which involved downsizing. I live in another state, so I was arranging the whole thing from afar. These things are never ideal, and of course since I wasn't there in person it turned into a big mess. The movers had to call me constantly with questions about unforeseen issues. The ONLY thing that had no problems whatsoever was Life Storage. I had bought the unit online and given the movers the confirmation email with all the info about my unit. They were done unloading at Life Storage and sending me pictures of the finished job before I even knew they had arrived there. Riley, the manager at Life Storage, was especially great in helping the whole thing go without a hitch. I am very grateful!

The space is nice and climate controlled, management is responsive and even cut my lock off for free when I couldn’t find my key. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars which is the reason I emptied my unit is that they raised prices on me unpredictably and sometimes by quite a bit. What once was an inexpensive 10x10 for less than $100 became almost $270 after less than 2 years.
We understand the price increases were frustrating, James. We're glad the climate-controlled space and responsive management met your needs.
