Joe: ?????????? This Company: ? To anyone who has a unit here, you might want to go check on it and/or consider relocating. You may have a rat infested unit. I stored my belongings here for a couple of years, only to discover at the end that our unit had been infested with rodents the entire time. When we came to clear out the unit, it was covered and I mean covered in rodent urine and droppings. A mattress, bedding, furniture, and irreplaceable heirlooms were all destroyed. Once rodents contaminate something and it sits for an extended period, it’s unsalvageable. Most of what we had stored had to be thrown away. When I contacted the company, I was told they couldn’t be held responsible because they can’t control what neighboring tenants store in their units. That response is simply not good enough. When you pay hundreds of dollars a month for storage, the baseline expectation is that your belongings will be safe. One bright spot: the on-site manager, Joe. When he saw the state of our unit, he stayed to help and was genuinely compassionate, even though his hands were tied at the corporate level. To the company: this isn’t about luxury storage. It’s about basic accountability. Pest control is a manageable, standard part of operating a storage facility. Telling customers there’s nothing you can do after their belongings are destroyed is not an acceptable answer.????????????????
