The staff was friendly and the process of renting the unit was quick and easy, so I had a good experience in that regard. However, I was very disappointed with the price increases. I understood that the initial rate of around $150/month was part of a 3-month promotion, so I expected the price to increase afterward. What surprised me was that after the promotion ended, my rate went up to around $250/month, and less than six months later it increased again to approximately $340/month, supposedly due to "market rates." Going from $150 to $340 in such a short period of time is a significant increase. Another disappointing part of my experience was that I canceled my unit only 3 days after making my monthly payment, but I did not receive any prorated refund for the remaining unused days. I understand there may be a company policy regarding refunds, but considering I had just paid for the month, I would have expected to receive at least a prorated refund for the days I did not use the unit. The facility and staff were good, but the frequent and substantial price increases, along with the lack of a prorated refund when moving out, make it difficult for me to recommend this facility for long-term storage. I strongly suggest asking about future rate increases and the cancellation/refund policy before renting.
