I can honestly say, I had the privilege today to speak to the best employee at Extra space storage on mill rd today, Ralph not only had such a positive voice, He handled my questions, with stride. Very smart to have Ralph on your schedule. He is a team player, I know this because my first attempt, I called another location at witch a female, was answer a work phone, like it was personal, and said she could not assist me. , I mentioned this to Ralph, his response was she most likely misunderstood my needs, to please give her a chance if I could spare a second. I really enjoyed all the great help, and He spoke to me with all respect. Very rare these days, I’m all smiles today, and possibly will take my second to give his co-employees chance to redeem her professional side. I’d like to give Ralph a raise, and paid time off, ( never met him). Keep up the wonderful communication and skills. Never know what ppl will say about you on the job. Take care Ralph and all Extra space storage employees.

UPDATE: Extra Space raised the rate on our 5x10 from $51 total to $77 total in 2 months. The onsite mgr helped keep the rate there for awhile, but they just sent a postcard threatening a $30 rate increase to $107 total. If you have LOTS OF MONEY, Extra Space is the place for you. History below. I would like to thank Extra Space for helping me clarify what is really necessary to keep, as we purge our way out of their facility. Extra Space took over the unit and raised the rate to $116 w/insurance for a 10x10 in June 2025. We took a web rate promo and downsized into a 5x10 then, first full bill was $51, which is like $40 plus insurance. Now we get a postcard that our rate will go to $80 plus insurance in October 2025. If you would like your rate to double in 4 months, this is the place. The nerve it takes for these millionaires to charge more per square foot than my home for their drafty house of cards. I'm sure they would blame the market, but "Timmy can do it so why can't I" is the defense of a child. You're ripping people off. We will downsize again and get out of the unit. EDIT: The onsite manager, Ralph, was very courteous in giving some relief on this rate increase, probably temporary but it is appreciated. I will say that the local staff have been great, but the storage prices set by extraspace and others in this area are getting out of hand and are in need of a correction, especially if they are giving themselves opportunities to increase rent 3 times a year.
