**Felt Taken Advantage Of** When I first signed up with Extra Space Storage, the price seemed fair. I trusted them. But over time, that trust was broken. What started at \$39 a month for an outdoor parking space in May 2024 climbed to \$78 by September—and then *an outrageous* \$156 by April 2025. That’s over four times the original price in less than a year. No warning. No explanation. No willingness to work with me, even as a veteran. It’s frustrating, disappointing, and feels like they’re taking advantage of loyal customers. I wouldn’t recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone. What looks like a good deal at first turns into a financial burden before you know it.

Ten stars....I've had one or more spaces there since 1993....and they've changed hands numerous times during those years....and I always dreaded the next manager because they never would answer the phone or return emails or help you with anything. But thank goodness that stopped with Lance. I closed out there recently which was complicated for various reasons, but Lance worked with me all the way through it and made it work like a breeze. So....if I had it to do all over again, I'd go back to the same lot...and hopefully this company and this manger will be there for another 30 years!!!

Reserved and paid for a rv parking site. Didn’t try to actually arrived until early evening of the scheduled day. My access code wasn’t activated. Contacted customer service and had to wait an additional half an hour for the system to be rebooted before I was actually able to get through security gate. Everything went smoothly after that. Next day, the manager/agent contacted me and apologized for the original mishap.
