I have had an extremely frustrating experience with this storage facility. They are quick to take your money but very slow to resolve problems that are caused by their own property. My storage unit has had a roof leak for over three weeks, causing water to leak onto my furniture and other personal belongings. I notified the office immediately after discovering the leak and the damage. Their only immediate solution was to offer me a plastic sheet to cover my belongings, but the water is leaking in multiple areas and spreading across the floor, making the plastic sheet useless. I even provided the office with a key so they could access my unit and complete the necessary roof repairs without needing me to be present. Despite having access, nothing has been repaired. During this time, we've had several storms that made the leak even worse, causing additional damage to my belongings. I paid nearly $600 to hire movers to move my belongings into this newly built storage facility because I am physically unable to move heavy furniture & other items myself. I also offered them my receipt from the moving company as proof. When I asked how they planned to resolve the situation, I was given only two options: 1. Move everything into another unit myself at my own expense, with no reimbursement for another moving company, no compensation, and no assistance moving my belongings. 2. File an insurance claim and hope they accept it. Neither option addresses the fact that the damage resulted from a leaking roof that is their responsibility to repair. Since they failed to fix the problem in a timely manner, I believe they should at least cover the cost of moving my belongings into a dry unit or provide reasonable compensation. To make matters worse, I've had to repeatedly call for updates, only to receive conflicting information and be given the runaround. Communication has been poor, and no one seems willing to take ownership of resolving the issue. I would not recommend storing your belongings here. If something goes wrong, don't expect timely repairs, clear communication, or meaningful customer service. This experience has been stressful, disappointing, and completely avoidable.
