Prior to a cross-country move with a POD, I called to rent a unit at the Herndon location and was told that there would be no problem with placing a POD there to unload into the unit; just to speak with the manager beforehand. She also said that we could prepay at the lower rate we rented at, and not have the rate increase. Unfortunately, none of that was true. Luckily, the manager V was willing to work with us and several phone calls later as we drove across the country, he was able to find a location for the POD at the facility as well as coordinate moving cars for space. We are extremely appreciative of all the effort he went through to help us with the situation. We did have to pay extra to rent a parking space, and we are not necessarily able to prepay for our unit to avoid a rate increase like we were told. We do feel like we were misled by the call center despite us asking specific questions prior to renting the unit, and the unexpected costs were unfortunate. However, it all worked out in the end, the unit is just what we expected, and V was integral in making that happen.
