Since 2007, Extra Space Storage of Houston has offered the best in self-storage, with strong security and hallmark cleanliness and convenience for individuals and businesses. We are conveniently located on the Southwest Freeway off the 59, just a few miles from downtown Houston and close to the Kerville area and Inner Loop. Houston Medical Center and Rice University are close as well. Our facility has more than 1,000 self-storage units ranging in size from 5’x 5’ to 10’x 35’, some of which are climate-controlled for sensitive items. Our knowledgeable storage specialists can help you determine the unit that fits your storage needs. Because we value our customers’ security, our facility has motion detection cameras providing 24-hour video surveillance and a manager who lives onsite. We also want to make your move easier so we’ve implemented convenient features like covered loading bays and DocuSign, an electronic lease that allows you to sign your rental agreement digitally to save you time. When I was researching nearby storage facilities, I thought my neighborhood options would be too expensive. But then I called Tangela and she was extremely friendly and helpful. She really takes pride in helping others find just what they need. Althought I hadn't intended to rent a climate controlled unit, due to the higher expense, Tangela's positive attitude brought me in to take a look at a unit. Tonia (who was just as personable and helpful as Tangela) showed me around, and the entire facility was spotless, and it was clear that the security was great. When I wanted to set up automatic payments, but to change the due date for my rent, Amanda made it really easy to make the adjustments. Like Tangela and Toniea, Amanda just makes you feel good. I'm really impressed with the employees at this Extra Space location, and the unit I rented cost the same as others in the area that don't have climate control, but Extra Storage is cleaner, safer and has the best staff around.

I have a regular storage unit and a wine storage unit, both on first floor. I really like being able to drive into a secure, covered area to load and unload. Pretty easy to get to my units on the grond floor. Facility clean, staff very helpful. Only complaint I have is that the wine units are expensive -- but worth it I guess. The staff here are really very good.

Extra Space Storage is exactly what we needed while we sort through years of children's toys, mementos, books, accumulated papers, and other "treasures" that somehow seem to grow on their own. The facility is convenient, clean, secure, and not outrageously priced.

I have rented here for 5 years and in that time the cost has gone up by about 75% and the cleanliness and convenience has gone down by at least that much. I would suggest going somewhere else.
