The facility itself is clean, spacious, and a decent place to store belongings; however, it is severely overpriced. If I ever needed storage again, it would not be at this location. I rented a 10 x 25 unit that initially cost $186. By May 5, 2026, I received a rate increase notice raising the price to $296. Nothing about the unit changed. Same size, same access, no upgrades, nothing special added. This increase came purely from company policy, not improved service. Even more frustrating, my rate jumped to $216 just three months after I moved back in August 2024. I was already struggling financially, which is why my belongings were in storage to begin with. I found myself calling every three months to speak with a manager, essentially pleading for my rate not to be increased again. The constant pressure to squeeze customers for more money is exhausting. Practices like this make otherwise decent facilities look bad when profit becomes the priority instead of customer satisfaction.

Extra Space seems to be the only storage facility in my area with actual people on-site. They have come through for me in unexpected ways multiple times. Other storage facilities have a scammy remote call center feel. Thank you Extra Space for employing people on-site.

If I can do lower than a 1 I would. There is a long story here, but essentially the facility manager Ann Aycock approached me with unprofessionalism that I was completely blindsided by. She is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Essentially, what could’ve made this a five star review is by her approaching Me, introducing herself, and professionally just explaining who she is and what she would like me to do. But I was completely confused caught off guard and all she threw my direction was anger and frustration treating me as if I was some kind of criminal breaking the law. and on top of that, it was multiple encounters that she carried some kind of angry and negative animosity to a complete stranger. and I would say maybe because it was just having a bad day, but because of multiple encounters no it is not because she’s having a bad day. It’s just who she is. If anyone wants to hear more of the story, reach out to me. Happy to tell it. Absolute worst facility manager I have ever encountered out of the multiple extra space storage units. I have rented from multiple states as I moved, all extra space, but I will never rent from extra space storage after I vacate the facility ever again. She is literally that bad. She represented the company in such a poor manner that I hope people read this hopefully this helps you make an informed decision on renting from this location with her as a facility manager. As for me, I’m a cool calm, collective, moral prudent person. I see the world for what it is. I have a lot of common sense when it comes to interactions. There is no over exaggeration here. I didn’t deserve to be treated like this.
