I don’t know how they keep customers long term. I just cancelled my storage after 2.5 years. Why? Price. I moved in a 10’X30’ unit for a monthly fee of $118, here’s the history… $118 for 9 months Price increase to $169… for 9 months Price increase to $194… for 12 months Now they’re increasing again to $212 So, before my first $212 payment, I’m moving out. This is ridiculous!!! You can’t tell me their cost has increased almost 100% in 30 months. And don’t tell me its just inflation and the cost of doing business, the same unit I rented (10’X30’) at the beginning for $118 a month, and now being charged $212 a month, is NOW BEING ADVERTISED ONLINE FOR $129 ($109+$20 insurance after move in deal). This company is crooked, they’re going to raise your price every 9 months and hope you don’t want to go through the hassle of moving your things and just pay to avoid that inconvenience. This is shady business practices and if enough of us leave a review (I can’t be the only one, I saw two others during my move-out that were moving to the same new facility I was moving to) maybe they’ll change. Or maybe every storage facility does this, time will tell. See proof of payment history below from their app.
