Update: It's been about 2 years now and I honestly still like this storage unit. If it was closer to my new place, I would've kept my unit here. Move out was super simple and Jim Conquest was very helpful throughout the whole fiasco. He was kind and very patient with me, which honestly made the chaos feel less overwhelming. It was easy to end our lease here as well, so if I ever have the need for more space again, I'll definitely consider opening another unit with Extra Space. Thank you Jim! Old review: It was super easy to reserve a unit with Extra Space Storage from their website. Make sure to check their website for their videos of each unit. If you happen to choose the wrong size like I did, the staff of Extra Space can help you change that easily via a phone call. The staff themselves are pretty friendly and helpful, so don't hesitate to contact them for help and inquiries. The building was large and it has a bathroom if you need to unpack for a while. Parking wasn't too bad and my unit was clean prior to my move in. The storage provides dollies for people to use when they move into their unit. If anyone is curious, the dollies are pretty big and strong! I managed to fit about 8 or so bins (16 gallons) onto just 1 dolley.

Jim was great! He was very helpful with information, kind, and friendly. We had to empty and end our storage unit contract due to distance. Jim was not pushy about ending our storage rental and the process was very fast. He was very nice and offered cold water as we were moving things out. Overall great experience!! ??

When I needed to find a climate-controlled storage unit, I talked with a couple of people I know who've also needed to store things that have to be protected from Tucson's weather extremes.
