The facility is clean and secure but that’s all of the positives. I feel the process of signing up for a storage unit was a little predatory. When you look on the website for example, the 5x5, it says $15 which makes you think, oh wow that’s not bad. What it doesn’t say is that the price of your storage unit can fluctuate throughout the year as market demand changes for the location and amount of tenants in the facility. This is honestly a little ridiculous if you ask me. It should also include the admin fee and insurance to be more transparent. I know it says climate controlled on the 2nd floor but it feels like there is no air moving at all and you can tell it’s definitely on the 1st floor which costs even more money. I was also charged $20 for the provided lock and when I presented my own, instead of getting that $20 reimbursed the manager “credited” my account instead and put the money towards the next billing cycle. The manager also seemed to have a slight attitude when I told her I brought a disc lock not a cylinder lock and had a demeanor as if I was an inconvenience to her day. Hopefully she was just having a bad day. If you are in the military, don’t even bother getting the discount because you only save $3 which is so little for the paperwork you have to sign which requires sensitive information and they expect you to email it and again, when I brought it into the main office a male employee working there had an attitude about not emailing it even though it asks for your social security number which they should understandably know could be a security risk to send it via email. I am disappointed in how the process was handled and hope anyone who is interested in signing up reads this to know what they are getting into. It is nice to have but they will get their money somehow ??.
