This Extra Space storage facility was the best I had experienced — until it wasn’t. After a couple of times that time got away from me and I missed the deadline to get myself through the gate, I began to receive the cold shoulder from Dolly and be the sole recipient of verbal reminders of the gate closing time whenever I saw her. It was a surprise when I received the vacate letter and was told my unit had a tag on it noting that it would be emptied in days if I did not empty it on a matter of hours. It was unfortunate that Dolly felt the need to take a heavy hand with me and my account — especially when she knew of the majorly stressful and life altering changes that had been taking place all around.
