Like Laura, I recently checked on my unit to find it tossed with extensive damage to family momentos and theft of items of value. Some one clearly had a LOT OF TIME to do this. There was no forced entry at the door or over the top. After changing the lcoks throughout to deal with a different rash of thefts, it appears some one on staff may have been using the master key. I know they are still trying to get this under control - but if you can't keep stuff safe please close the facility. Now grinding through the claims process - another disappointment after all the $$$ I've sent these folks in the last couple of months.

My unit was broken into and over $22k of property was stolen and a few personal items that have really hit me hard. It was unusual as my lock was undisturbed. As I was cleaning up my unit over the course of a week several other people came by and said the same happened to them. The units are not secure because anyone, once inside the building, can crawl into your unit from above the roller door straight into the units. It’s completely open. Anybody can crawl in. All you need is to stand on something to reach up there and then crawl in, which I had never noticed before. The staff are nice but 100% inefficient. They state there are security cameras but there is only one camera fixed by the main glass entry door. That’s it. Nothing by the units themselves. I asked for any security data available for my unit. The staff did not check anything stating that thefts are happening often and people are getting in through the back door which is not monitored. None of this makes any sense to me and their indifference like it’s an everyday occurrence and I’m taking their time by bringing it up has me feel utterly taken advantage of and helpless. The other victims I’ve met all state the same things I’ve experienced. I would not recommend storing your items here it’s too much of a risk in a very high risk area and with its very little to NO security. Security is obviously not a priority or even remotely on their radar. Anything the website states regarding their security is solely superficial for marketing purposes. 100% false security.
